Paper Shufflers of MN incorporated in March of 2002.
Its owners, Janice and Jerry Lepinski, had been producing calendars for families and businesses for a number of years already at that point, under their other company, J Squared Inc.
The decision was made to sell J Squared Inc's calendars and graphic design customers to Paper Shufflers of MN in 2002, with J Squared Inc. producing H.O.T.rack Products under the company's web site (JSquaredInc.Com) and retaining the web site dedicated to H.O. slot and slotless vehicles as a hobby (ModelMotorist.Com) as it's own properties.

Janice and Jerry began producing photo calendars for their family in 1996, with birthdays and anniversaries listed in the appropriate dates, and very soon had requests from other families to do the same for them.
At the time, Janice was working full time as a graphic/web designer for Wheeler Lumber / Erickson Engineering Company, and beginning in 2000, they contracted with her to produce a calendar with photos of their bridge projects from the previous year above each month, and their logo in the lower page of the calendar.
